Synopsis:
Thanet Arthur Blake is back, and this time he is working on the case of his life. Literally.
Someone is offing the private dicks and it is incumbent upon him to discover who the low life is. Being on the police pay roll is the only way he can get the other dicks to talk, and even then they are not very forthcoming with information. Thanet has the unfortunate reputation of being a walking hearse. Everyone he has been seen rubbing elbows with has been prematurely sent west.
Time is fast running out. Can he solve the case before more people are murdered, before he himself is sent to meet his maker?
